Current research interests
Passionate about a career in psychology integrating research, practice, and education. I believe in commitment to addressing social issues at the community level and providing expertise in the prevention and management of psycho-socio-emotional challenges. Particularly those affecting abused women and children. I am currently working on expanding my expertise in neuroscience and the intersection of spirituality and mental health. I understand that advancing public health and wellbeing as a counselor, educator, or researcher is crucial as a psychologist. My research interests also include child and adolescent mental health, child protection, forensic psychology, community-based interventions, and public health initiatives.
Contributions to teaching
I view education as a transformative catalyst that molds individuals across rational, emotional, scientific, and spiritual dimensions. Leveraging my background as a psychologist, I employ an eclectic, evidence-based, and holistic framework for pedagogy, research, and clinical practice. This psychological lens allows for a nuanced connection with students, fostering an enriching environment where learning is both accessible and profound. I contend that higher education must pivot from rote examination toward the cultivation of robust professional ethics and sophisticated research competencies. By prioritizing practical application over traditional testing, we ensure that individual academic mastery translates into tangible community impact, graduating professionals who are intrinsically equipped for career excellence.
