Though I have been overburdened with administrative and research work, as a professor and Head of the Department I have been teaching 2 papers for the PG programme. The papers are Environmental Economics for IIIrd semester and Research Methodology for the IVth semester. In addition to this, I have been also teaching the section of Kerala Economy for the first semester students. Besides I have been teaching Research Methodology for the Ph.D coursework students. I have been always using ICT for the class room instruction and interactive and applied level orientation is the innovative aspect of teaching methodology followed in the teaching programme. As the faculty of the department, I have been supervising 9 research scholars, 4 full time and 5 part time and all of them leading to Ph.D programme. In addition to this I have been undertaking 2 funded projects. One is the IMPRESS Research project of ICSSR for two years and the other one is the Kannur University Minor Research Project.
