Workshop on Drama in Education

Workshop on Drama in Education for the first year students was conducted on 14th February 2024 at 10 AM at General Hall by Udayan Kundamkuzhi sir. The Workshop taught the students to enhance their skills, talents, creativity and memory power. Many group works were done in the morning session which was done to develop confidence, time management skills and coordinating skills. In the afternoon session individual acting talents of the students were also performed. The Workshop concluded at 4:30 P.M

WORKSHOP ON LITERARY ART IN EDUCATION

KUTEC Dharmasala conducted a workshop on literary arts on 20th February 2024, at 10.AM, at General hall. It was the second day of the workshop for the students. It dealt with the topic “poetry” which was handled by Sri. Babu Mandur, who is a teacher, actor and a director. The major focus of the class was the appreciation of poetry as a performance art. He selected famous poetic pieces and performed those in front of the students. He also used some magic tricks to capture the attention of the students. He made the students fall in love with the genre called poetry. The afternoon session included folk music, Prose writing etc.

WORKSHOP ON ART IN EDUCATION

The third day of the workshop was based on “visual arts” and the resource person for the workshop was a famous artist, Santhosh Chunda. It was conducted on 23rd February 2024 at General Hall. The morning session dealt with the theoretical aspects of visual arts and paintings of different famous painters. He also made the students to paint free style drawing. The paintings and works of famous artists like Picasso, Da Vinci and Micalangelo were explored. In the afternoon session, students were divided into groups and were asked to make a collage on charts with random colours and papers, with a title for each work.
