Teacher Education Center Kasaragod

The Teacher Education centre was established in the year 1996 with the broad objective of providing education for the prospective teachers, who will be socially committed, intellectually competent and morally upright. Since Teacher Education plays a vital role in all branches of education, all faculty members of our department put all possible efforts to make the future teachers very efficient and excellent in all walks of their career. The University Teacher Education Centre is located in the heart of Kasaragod city. This centre offers B.Ed course in 7 optional subjects, viz. Malayalam, Arabic, Kannada, English, Maths, Physical Science and Social Science. The institution is unique as it is the only centre in the district offering teacher education programme in Arabic and Kannada optionals.
